Lisa joined Allstate Investments after graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Illinois State University in 1998 and subsequently passed her  CPA exam in November 2000.

She’s had the opportunity to rotate through various roles in Investment Operations including the Fixed Income Processing, Balancing, and GAAP Reporting teams. Lisa is currently the Division Manager of the Statutory and Tax Reporting team.

Why did you choose to work at Allstate Investments?
Investment accounting was an aspect of the field that interested me. Allstate Investments felt like the right fit for me and I knew I would be working for a good, reputable company.
What are the key aspects of your daily work?
I am looked upon to make decisions and manage requests and deadlines from internal customers such as the Corporate Accounting and Corporate Tax departments.
I am involved in reviewing and monitoring investment-related statutory accounting requirements to ensure that Allstate remains compliant in their filings.
I’m responsible for reviewing the investment portion of the statutory financial statements and creation of the investment related footnotes.
What keeps you here?
I work in a dynamic environment that provides plenty of opportunities for rotation and participation in high-impact projects. This also allows me to partner with our Investment Technology group to implement and develop process improvements.
